The school which is one of the oldest all-girls senior high schools in the Ashanti remains one of the best performing schools in many facets of academia not only in the region but nationwide.
The school which was established in 1961 as part of the rapid educational expansion works under the auspices of Ghana’s first president, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah began with seventy students but now boasts of over four thousand of students.
